Uniform Code of Military Justice
Article 51. Motions.
(a) A party may present motions authorized by the Rules of Practice and Procedure.
(b) Motions may address—
(i) jurisdiction;
(ii) dismissal;
(iii) suppression;
(iv) admissibility of evidence;
(v) discovery;
(vi) severance;
(vii) continuance; or
(viii) disqualification.
(c) The Military Judge shall determine questions of law raised by motion and enter the ruling upon the record.
